Schools throughout the country are struggling, and Frederick Douglass High School is no exception. At the Recognition/Honors Event held on September 15, 2012 Principal Hurt requested assistance from the Alumni Association in raising $10,000 toward the purchase of new books for the school’s library and the Moot Court. The Alumni Association has committed to raising these funds. The goal is $10,000.
Individuals and classes have already begun to make contributions, however your support is needed in order to insure that this goal is achieved.
Please make your checks payable to the Frederick Douglass High School (FDHS) Alumni Association, with a note indicating ‘Book Drive’ and mail to P.O. Box 25151; Baltimore, Maryland 21229.
